What was the highlight of ZEN Rooms People's Park Complex
The room was clean and neat.
The room was clean and neat. It had a modern look and feel to it. The beds were comfy. It was better than I expected. The reception area is very welcoming, and it's a 2 minute walk away from Chinatown train station so we only used the train line to travel. We used the train to get back to the airport also since the station was so near. I would go back if I had to stay again for 1 or 2 nights. If you are booking for 2 people, it can get abit cramped for longer stays.
It's tiny but it's exactly what you see in the photos. Just enough space to open your bag. The price seemed slightly high for a tiny room, but I guess that's the cost of living in Singapore.

Cool, dry, comfortable, a little noisy at night but still bearable.
Very friendly chap at the desk when we arrived, others never even said Hello as we walked past. Comfy bed, good aircon in room. Linens were changed daily which is great given we are not used to the humidity level in Singapore, nice to have clean linen every day, thank you.
Although we specified a quiet room we were on the hotel front, Mosque St where eateries were very noisy at night time up until 2am.

Tiny tiny rooms with not enough space for two people even in the superior. Quite disappointing considering the extreme pricing. Bathroom needed a good scrub.

Good for budget traveller
I like the lobby, the room is ok, not that big, but it is good for budget traveller, you get what you paid for since you are out most of the day, so u just really need place to sleep and rest. The location is good since its near chinatown and lots of food hawkers.
Its not much of a big deal or issue, you can improve the washroom, like put shower curtain so the water wouldn't splash all over the place since it's small And if possible to clean the linens and beddings everyday.
